San Jacinto Valley Academy

Welcome Message

Welcome to the San Jacinto Valley Academy Educational Team!

Our goal is for all students to continuously increase their learning!
You are an important part of SJVA’s great “team” of teachers, support staff, parents, community, volunteers, PTSA, SJVA Board, and administration. Our direction is to strengthen our “roots” and grow. Established since 1997 and fully WASC accredited, SJVA starts its 18th year on Monday, August 11, 2014.

Our “roots” are going deeper into the community with the continuing partnerships with Mt. San Jacinto Community College, “Grandfathers for Golf,” visual and performing arts in the Diamond Valley Arts Center, and CIF for even more SJVA sport teams! In 2014-15, our Athletic Director and coaches are ready to lead our teams to victory.

Our “growth” is seen through our increasing academic achievement, raising standards for students’ learning and teachers’ teaching, adding more to student services, and having additional facilities, including a new high school wing.
The IB program is geared to provide our high school Juniors and Seniors with preparation and academic readiness for college/universities. Current 12th grade students and cohort of 11th grade students are participating in the IB curriculum. We are continually upgrading our technology to better serve students and teachers.
We are proud of the fact that SJVA is an “inquiry” school. We use “inquiry” approaches which align to the Common Core State Standards to motivate and actively involve students in their learning. They will be encouraged and helped to inquire into things that are meaningful to them and to other members of their community of inquirers.
