FILM Production
The SJVA Film Program introduces students to every stage of professional filmmaking. Students learn through hands-on productions while working in real production crews that mirror industry workflows.
Throughout the year, students complete narrative films, documentaries, commercials, sports content, music videos, and collaborative client projects while preparing for the SJVA Film Festival.
FILM Intro
Discover the foundations of filmmaking through camera operation, composition, lighting, editing, audio, and commercial production.
Please note that 8th-grade students are also allowed to enroll in Film Intro.
FILM 1
Develop cinematic storytelling through advanced cinematography, lighting, editing, visual effects, music videos, and commercial filmmaking.
FILM 2
Master producing, leadership, commercial production, sports filmmaking, artist branding, and professional production workflows.
