For the month of October, our first AVID competition is AVID T-shirt Design Contest. Each class was tasked to create a t-shirt design that will be entered into a school-wide AVID competition. The winner’s design will be featured on our AVID T-shirts. Students may choose to design the front, back, or both front and back of the t-shirt. It must include SJVA AVID in their design. Students may also choose to draw the design on the provided paper template or use an online design tool like Google Drawing, Google Slides or Canva. These following students are the winners: Allessandra So, an 9th grader in Mr. Johnson's AVID and Damian Martinez an 8th grader in Mr. Gonzalez's AVID. Their designs will be featured in our 2023-24 AVID T-shirt.
