Upcoming Events

October is a busy month for field trips for our AVID classes.

Our HS AVID students visited Cal State Fullerton on October 9, 2023.

Our 6th grade classes will visit Cal State San Marcos on October 24, 2023.

Our 7th graders will take a field trip to Cal State San Bernardino on October 25 & 26, 2023.

Finally, our 8th graders will visit UC San Diego on December 5, 2023.

Plus, we will also have a three-to-four-day Northern California College tour in September of 2024. Our goal is to have a student that joins AVID in 6th grade and stays in AVID until 12th grade visit 10-11 campuses before they apply for college.

AVID T-shirt winner announced. The winners were Alessandra So and Damian Martinez. Their designs will be combined to make one AVID shirt design.

The College Door Decorating Contest began this month. Winners will be chosen on November 16th or 17th.
