At San Jacinto Valley Academy, we align our grading system with the University of California (UC) and California State University (CSU) A-G requirements to ensure that all students are prepared for college eligibility. A "C-" or higher is the minimum passing grade for all courses. Students who earn below a "C-" must complete credit recovery to stay on track for graduation and maintain their college eligibility.
Our goal is to open as many doors as possible for our students, giving them the opportunity to pursue any path they choose after senior year—whether that be college, career, or another endeavor. To support this, we offer a variety of Career Technical Education (CTE) courses that also fulfill A-G requirements, allowing students to gain hands-on experience while staying college-ready. By providing diverse academic and career-focused pathways, we ensure that every student has the option to continue their education and achieve their aspirations.
