Hello, I'm Ms. Salcedo, College & Career Counselor at SJVA. My role is to help students explore their interest, build essential skills, and prepare for their future. Whether you're thinking about college, career, military, trade school, or you're still figuring it out—I’m here to help.

I work closely with students and families to provide support in:

• College research and applications (2-year, 4-year, in-state, out-of-state, and private schools), including IB credit opportunities
  
• College and postsecondary planning
• Career exploration, CTE Pathways, and goal-setting
  
• Financial aid, FAFSA/CADAA, and scholarships
  
• Military and workforce readiness
  
• Resume building, interviews, and job prep
