The following grades have earned casual dress day for tomorrow November 29, 2018:

6th grade
7th grade
8th grade
9th grade

Grades that did not earn casual dress may still wear an SJVA or college t-shirt with uniform pants.

The Counseling Department presents "SJVA Parent Workshop Series"

At SJVA we strive to provide a safe, supportive, caring and respectful environment which is crucial to student learning. Our goal is to work in partnership with parents/guardians to foster collaboration and empower them with tools to help their student. The SJVA Parent Workshop series are informal sessions designed to provide strategies and resources in diverse topics tailored to the needs of our students. PSAT, PSAT/NMSQT, SAT results!

Parents of students who participated in the school wide PSAT, PSAT/NMSQT or SAT test on Wednesday, October 10th; College Board has announced that the results will be available via www.collegeboard.org between Nov. 5th to Nov. 7th.
Please have your student create an account using this link if you wish to see these results as soon as they are available. Once the results are mailed to our school we will deliver the hard copies to each students' English class.

Spirit Week

Spirit week is from Monday 10/15 to Friday 10/19. Monday is Pajama Day, Tuesday is Wild West Day, Wednesday is Multicultural Day, Thursday is Tourist/Explorer Day, and Friday is Grade Level Day. For Grade Level Day: Elementary: School Colors, 6th Grade: Red, 7th Grade: Blue, 8th Grade: Black, 9th Grade: White, 10th Grade: Gray, 11th Grade: Maroon, 12th Grade: Black.
