San Jacinto Valley Academy - School Advisory Committee
The School Advisory Committee will act as a clearinghouse for ideas on the development and evaluation of programs at SJVA. SJVA’s Board of Directors and Administration may ask the Committee to review, discus, and evaluate items related to the following area:
These areas of interest have been identified, but other topics may be introduced at the discretions of the Board of Directors, President, and Vice President.
Composition and Election
There shall be five parents (5), three (3) teachers, three (3) students, President, Vice President, and/or designee. Any Board of Directors assigned to the Committee are at the options of the Board of Directors Chairman.

School Advisory Committee with the Organization
School Advisory Committee is under the President and/or Vice President’s oversight but the committee has no operational authority concerning the daily activities of the Academy or its employees. It is imperative that this group be a resource to SJVA’s Board of Directors, Administration, and School Leadership Team. If relational problems developed the President and/or Vice President can request that the Board of Directors remove the individual or groups of individuals causing a disturbance. Upon removal, SJVA’s President and/or Vice President can appoint parents and/or teachers to fill the unexpired term of those removed.
