School Advisory Committee (SAC)

San Jacinto Valley Academy - School Advisory Committee

The School Advisory Committee is under the President and/or Vice President’s oversight but the committee has no operational authority concerning the daily activities of the Academy or its employees. It is imperative that this group be a resource to SJVA’s Board of Directors, Administration, and School Leadership Team. 

 

Mission

  • The School Advisory Committee will provide an opportunity for stakeholder input for ideas on the development of SJVA’s athletic programs, school safety and climate, and clubs and extracurricular activities. SJVA’s Board of Directors and Administration may ask the Committee to review, discuss, and evaluate various topics at their discretion. 

Composition

  • The Committee shall be made up of parents, students, and staff at the discretion of the President and/or Vice President. 
 
Meetings
  • The School Advisory Committee will hold a meeting March of the current school year.
