San Jacinto Valley Academy’s Guitar CTE Pathway offers a five-year sequence—Introduction to Guitar, Guitar 1, Guitar 2, Guitar 3, and Guitar 4. Students progress from foundational guitar techniques, notation, rhythm, and practice habits to advanced musicianship, ensemble performance, competitions, teaching, mentorship, and career preparation. Through performances, internships, collaborative projects, and real-world experiences, students develop the musical and professional skills needed for college, careers, and lifelong engagement with the arts.

San Jacinto Valley Academy After School Program

Established in 2014, the San Jacinto Valley Academy After School Program offers guitar classes for students in grades 3–12. With an emphasis on general guitar techniques, students develop a strong technical and musical foundation through sequential instruction, ensemble rehearsals, and performances. The program provides a supportive environment that encourages collaboration, confidence, and a lifelong appreciation for music.

The San Jacinto Valley Academy Guitar Club, established in 2014, offers after-school classes for students in grades 3–12. With an emphasis on classical training, the program provides a safe, supportive environment where students build a solid technical and musical foundation. A sequential curriculum guides learners from preparatory through advanced levels of proficiency, and regular ensemble rehearsals and performances develop collaborative musicianship and stage confidence. By encouraging engagement and open dialogue, the program nurtures a strong community and cultivates a lifelong love for the arts.
