An IB World School is a school that follows the values and educational approach of the IB Organization, creating a learning environment that reflects its principles. These schools go through a careful approval process to ensure they meet IB’s high standards, allowing them to offer IB programs that support strong academics, personal growth, and global awareness.

SJVA offers the Primary Years Program (PYP) to students in TK through 5th grade as well as the IB Diploma Program (IBDP)  to students in 11th and 12th grade.
 
PYP
  • PYP is an integral part of the curriculum for students enrolled in TK through fifth grade.

IBDP
  • The IBDP is available for students in 11th and 12th grade as a means to prepare them for college and life beyond college.
  • The Diploma Program hinges on the importance of inquiry, cultural diversity and holistic learning and growth.
