This class will build upon the skills developed in 9th grade. Those skills include reading comprehension, writing, word development, grammar/mechanics, and in depth analysis. During the course of 10th grade English, students will write at minimum six essays (three each semester). Also, students will be exposed to novels, short stories, poetry, drama, and informational texts.
