On this day we learned about the Periodic Table of Elements. We also learned about atoms. We explored the four elements of: Hydrogen, Oxygen, Sodium, and Chloride. We mixed 2 "H"s and 1"O" to make water. Then we mixed 1 Na and 1 CL to make salt. Then we mixed one H2O and one NaCl to make salt water. We also played games at P.E. later to reinforce these, and each child was an element and had to run around and when I blew the whistle would have to attach to another student to make a mixture.
