IB  Meeting

We will be hosting a meeting for the 10th grade students interested in participating in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program next year.  A high level of support and dedication is required to participate in the IB Diploma Program.  The program focuses on international mindedness and can be compared to the rigor of  AP Programs at many public high schools.  The coursework is demanding and requires an extraordinary commitment from all students, parents and school staff involved.  We invite you to attend this meeting in order to develop a clear understanding of what the IB Diploma Program requirements are for the 2014-15 school year.

SJVA will be holding an IB Parent and Student Information Night on Tuesday, April 29th from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM in room 32

At this time, we will discuss expectations of the IB Diploma Program as well as address any questions and/or concerns.  Please take this opportunity to attend the scheduled meeting with your student, so that you can decide if your student is eligible and/or able to commit themselves to becoming a successful participate of the IB diploma program.

We hope to see all of you at the meeting.  If you have any questions before then, please contact the Counseling Office at 951-654-6113.
