The SJVA Piano Program was founded in 2014 and has grown to service over 30 students in 2nd-5th grade. Students in the piano program are given weekly lessons in small group settings on technique, music theory, and repertoire. The program holds two concerts per year that allows every student to showcase what they’ve learned during the semester. We encourage collaboration and team work often having students learn and perform duets, trios and group pieces. Our piano program strives to help students learn the basics of the keyboard in a fun and supportive environment.
