2nd & 3rd Grade Choir
Instructor: Mrs. Cecelia Schaeffer
For any students that love to sing, the choir program starts early in educating students on healthy vocal technique and musicianship skills.  In choir, we focus on creating a beautiful sound together and enjoying the process of music making.  We use movement, games and activities to encourage learning.  This group rehearses and performs once per semester at SJVA as well as participating in field trips to visit other choirs.

This choir is a continuation in educating students on healthy vocal technique and musicianship skills.  This choir typically focuses on some harder music, often including songs with harmonies and more challenging rhythms. We use movement, games and activities to encourage learning.  This group rehearses and performs once per semester at SJVA as well as participating in field trips to visit other choirs.  Past field trips have included: Visiting the South Bay Children’s Choir in Los Angeles and visiting and performing with the Redlands Youth Choir at the University of Redlands.
