Elementary Information

 

SJVA is an International Baccalaureate World School, which includes the Primary Years Programme (PYP) for grade levels TK-5. The PYP curriculum is inquiry based and focuses on the growth and development of our students by creating lessons that promote international mindedness. Our themes for instruction are: where we are in place and time, how we express ourselves, how the world works, how we organize ourselves and sharing the planet. Our teachers collaborate often to create lessons and assessments that accurately and effectively support struggling students, accelerated students and all students in between.
